We had a lot of fun for science on Monday. We talked about what is inside of a pumpkin, guessed how much it might weigh, and counted the stripes. Then, we cut the pumpkin open and scooped out all of the gooey fun stuff inside and counted the seeds. Then, we voted on the pattern we wanted to use to carve our jack-o-lantern. We helped push out the pieces so we could see the face better. We will roast some of the seeds to eat and plant some of the seeds to grow our own pumpkin plants.
