Dr. Shumaker's friends come to read to us sometimes. On Thursday, we read the story "City Dog, Country Frog". This book was about a dog and frog who become friends even though they are from different places. As the seasons change, the friends change and things start to happen that the dog doesn't understand. At the end of the story frog is gone, but dog finds a new friend to play with, a chipmunk.
