In ROD this week, we read Family Huddle by Archie, Peyton, and Eli Manning, and discussed how sports players wear jerseys. We talked about all the sports that we have on the UWA campus, and Ms. Annie showed them all a golf ball, tennis ball, basketball, football, soccer ball, volleyball, softball and baseball. Then each student got to pick which ball went with the coordinating jersey. It was tricky, but they figured it out! To wrap up the lesson all the students got to finger paint a number and their last name on paper cut out to look like a jersey. These will be displayed in the ROD room.
