This morning, we made a fresh batch of homemade biscuits. We read "The Little Red Hen" and talked about how the Hen's friends were not very nice to her because they didn't want to help her do anything. We talked about how to be a good friend and always be nice to others. We learned what ingredients to use to make our biscuits and then helped Ms. Kim make each one just right. Next, we learned how to make honey butter. After that, we cracked eggs and made scrambled eggs. Ms. Kim cooked bacon for us too. We shared with all of our teacher friends and enjoyed our very own breakfast.
