Shadows here, shadows there, we found shadows everywhere. We watched a music video called "Shadows" then found our own shadows on the board. Next, we found our shadows in other places around the room. Then, we danced to Halloween Hits as we watched our shadows boogie. We had a great time watching our shadows. We found shadows in books we read too. We learned that in order for a shadow to be present, there must be some source of light present also. We talked about sunlight, moonlight, flashlights, lamps, and other sources of light and experimented with lamps and flashlights in the classroom.
