We read a few books about dinosaurs yesterday. Then, on Wednesday we discussed the job of paleontologists. We drew pictures of what we would discover if we were real paleontologists. Next, we discussed the tools that these scientists use. Afterward, we got to dig for some fossils(chocolate chips) with our very own special tools (toothpicks). We counted each fossil and reported our findings to the teacher. We learned that it is very important to be patient and take our time when digging up the fossils so we can preserve them in the natural state as much as possible. Ms. Kim was so proud of us for taking our time and discovering so many fossils.
