We read "Brand-new Pencils, Brand-new Books" and "Timothy Goes to School". We talked about the rules that Gilbert and his sister had to follow in their new schools. Then, we talked about Timothy's day at school. He didn't have a great first day like we did. There was a bully in his classroom. Claude made Timothy not like school, but soon Timothy found a true friend and began to like school.
