We made a frozen excavation tower. As the tower melted, we discovered several of our toys inside it. We discussed solids and liquids. We also talked about ways we could remove our toys if we just couldn't wait for the ice to melt away. One of the items inside the tower was a peppermint stick wrapped and sealed in plastic. We couldn't tell what it was any more because it had turned into liquid. We are investigating so we can solve this mystery.
