What do you know about clothes? What would you like to learn about clothes? Where do clothes come from? How are they made? We watched a video about shearing sheep to find out where some of our clothes come from. We also read many books about clothes. We have real cotton in our classroom to feel and talk about the differences in textures of unprocessed cotton and cotton balls as well as cotton t-shirts and denim. We also explored in centers in many ways and discussed how we use different fabrics and materials to make our toys and games that we play with every day. We even brought in a discussion about those crazy disguises that our turkeys are wearing.
