Ms. Brittany showed us where another moth had hatched from its cocoon. It was very big and fuzzy.
On Monday, May 5, we started our study on balls. We are learning about all different kinds of balls from the kind we toss around on the big green field to the ones on top of spaghetti.
We are learning some cool facts about rocks. We enjoy using the magnifying glasses to look at the rocks more closely. We drew some pictures of our findings.
On Monday, April 29, we explored building with the Lego blocks and made cages for our zoo animals.
Ms. Brittany had something really amazing happening in her classroom. She came to share with us. We held a cocoon that was almost ready to "hatch". We could feel the fluttering of the moth inside of it. Then, we saw the moth as it hatched. It was put outside so it could survive.
We had some very special guests from the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra. We learned about stringed instruments as the quartet played different musical pieces for us.
On April 24, we explored by using our imaginations, measuring, building, and creating different types of structures.
