Ms. Nicki read "Olivia Plays Soccer" and then taught us some of the ways to play soccer. We learned how to dribble the ball.

We are learning new Chinese songs with Mr. Bowen. On Monday, we learned a song about a wolf and a little bunny. We are learning about safety at home. Never let a stranger in your home, especially if mom and dad are away.

In centers, we are learning about fall things. We are mailing letters to our families to invite them to a fall festival. Then, we used our cars to go to the farmers' market to collect the freshly harvested vegetables and fruits. We learned how to make orange from red and yellow. In the science center we are looking at the items we collected on our nature walk and drawing our observations. In kitchen center, we are baking up some pumpkin and apple pies. We are also learning to make simple patterns with the different color apples.

We read a book about apples. Did you know there were orange and pink apples? We learned about many different kinds of apples in the book. Then, we made a graph of our favorite apples and talked about most, least, and how many in all.

Fall is a fun time of year. We are playing a pumpkin game on starfall.com. We have to describe the pumpkins and use math words before we can choose our favorite pumpkin piece to make the jack-o-lantern.

We are learning about the letter E, ovals, the number 5, and red, yellow, and orange this week.

Friday was the last day that the UWA Nursing Program will visit us. We learned about car safety.
