On Tuesday, we explored the world of earthworms. We learned that worms are very important for our food to grow because the water can go through dirt better because of the tunnels worms make. We went to dig for worms in the wood chip pile. Everyone took a turn with the shovel. Then, we searched for worms in the dirt we brought back inside. We didn't find any, but we bought some from the fish bait store. We decided to play with the worms and even danced with them. We had a worm race too. We love our earthworm farm. We are learning to be responsible and play safely with our new pets.
