We read "Something from Nothing". This is a story about a little boy named Joseph. Joseph's grandpa makes him a special blanket that soon becomes worn and tattered so his grandpa has to make something else for Joseph from the blanket. The story goes on where grandpa runs out of material to make anything bigger than a button. Joseph loses his button and realizes that there is nothing left but a great story about making "something from nothing".
