In Ms. Kim’s room for SWAP, we read The Plump and Perky Turkey. Then, we traced our hands and put feathers on the handprint to make turkey tails and made the turkey’s head and face. We were making the pieces to go on our pine cone turkeys. After that, we designed our very own teepees because we learned about the types of houses Indians lived in long ago. When we were done, we all gathered around and did “The Turkey Pokey”.
