For science, we compared the inside of a boiled egg to the eggs we examined yesterday. The students were asked if this egg would make as big of a mess as the one did yesterday. I didn't tell them anything was different. I asked them if the egg looked any different. Then, we dropped the egg and watched what happened. The students then discussed why the egg didn't make a big mess. Then, we investigated with magnifying glasses. The students recorded their observations in their journals.
