On Monday, May 12, we took our balls study a little more in-depth. We read "On Top of Spaghetti" and talked about meatballs rolling but not bouncing. Then, we asked "Do all balls bounce?". We watched "Sid the Science Kid: And That's Why the Ball Bounces". We learned that amount of the elasticity of the ball is what makes it bounce or not bounce. We are going to further explore with an experiment. Watch for more updates as we observe, compare, and contrast.

We tried to make different balls with our clay from the Indian Village. It was a lot harder than we thought, but we tried really hard.

Then, on Friday, we had Muffins for Mom. We gave our moms the gifts and treated them with muffins and juice. We are always glad to have our moms visit us. Thanks for all you do for us Moms!!!!

On Thursday, May 8, we made some special gifts just for our beautiful moms.

Next, we bounced around for a little while and then headed inside for face painting, popcorn, and a movie.

On Wednesday, we had our Annual Spring Fling. We tried out our riding legs in the parking lot as we rode around on bicycles, tricycles, scooters, bigwheels, and more.

On Tuesday, May 6, we visited the Children's Hands On Museum (CHOM) in Tuscaloosa. We had a wonderful time exploring Beaver Bend, The Farmers' Market, the Indian Village, Grandma's Attic, and DCH Hospital. After so much fun, we were hungry. So, we went to have a picnic in the park next to the museum.
